ARCA BEHIND THE PASS X JAIMIE VAN HEIJE
It’s been a while! On Thursday 7th November, one of Amsterdam’s greatest, meets Lisbon’s finest as Henrique Sá Pessoa & the ARCA team are excited to welcome Chef Jaimie van Heije for the 5th edition of ARCA Behind the Pass as we bring the concept closer to home with a renowned local chef!
Running his own hugely successful restaurant in Ouderderk aan de Amstel for 11 years and now leading the pass at NEXT NDSM, Jaimie not only shares a love of sneakers with Henrique, but also a love of surprising flavour combinations and plates as pleasing on the eye as they are on the palette.
For the special occasion, Jaimie’s dishes will incorporate Henrique’s Portuguese heritage; experimenting with Portuguese flavour profiles and Henrique’s favourite ingredients while Henrique will pay tribute to Jaimie’s Indonesian roots through exciting flavours and unique produce. With desserts crafted by ARCA’s award-winning Pastry Chef Margarita Pugovka, the evening promises to end on the sweetest of notes.
What to expect? A night filled with unforgettable dishes, surprising flavour combinations, interactions from both chefs and drinks a flowing!
The event starts at 6:30 PM at ARCA Bar and tickets include a welcome drink and chance to mingle with the chefs, plus an extravagant 6 course dinner. Wine pairing also available.
